THE ASVAB TEST WILL BE ADMINISTERED AT
SHS!

Are you confused about what to do after high school graduation? Is college in your plans? Do you plan to find a job right away? What kind of job should it be? You might
ask what other alternatives exist for you. What
about vocational or technical training?
What other opportunities exist in the military?

If you would like help in making these difficult and
important decisions, The Armed
Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (“ASVAB”) will be administered at 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Thursday October 20th, in the Library. “ASVAB” is the most widely used
aptitude test in America. Each year it is administered to
nearly a million high school students nationwide. Test results are combined with other supportive materials to assist
you in determining your interests, abilities, and personal preferences. This program offers information about the world-of-work, career opportunities for occupations that
interest you. The program can also assist you in identifying occupations that match your own characteristics.
“ASVAB” is offered to students at no cost and without obligation. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to assist you in career planning; sign up now with Renee Herigstad
at the CTE Window or at the Counseling Center
before October 17th.
